Abstract

A Study of the relation between the intelligence quotient and the progress of the student in High School.The Miller Intelligence Test was administered to graduates of the elementary school. It was given by teachers in the high school. The number taking the test was about four hundred. The following statistics deal with one hundred forty eight students. The other students were in other annexes.The Miller Test served the following purposes:-1. To grade or classify the incoming pupils according to the I. Q. received.2. To determine whether the student be permitted to take a language.3. To arrange the pupils in language groups according to the I. Q. received.
