Present Day Education of Women in New York City
Abstract
Among the questions which are agitating the minds of many today, one of the most prominent is the Education and Social Position of Woman. It is not the importance of education in general that is under consideration, for no people in the world are more alive to its necessity and no people more self-sacrificing and generous in providing for its maintenance than the people of New York. A woman's education should prepare her to fulfill satisfactorily all her social duties. The agitation centers around the problem of social position.
