The Gifted Child as the Potential Leader

Eleanor R Levin, Fordham University

Abstract

In the United States the theory has been adopted that "all men are created equal, hence, they are entitled to the save education. Equality, in the eyes of law, is no doubt very democratic, but in education this would violate the theory of "individuality." for it does not recognize the fact that each should be educated according to his own capacity for learning and his own aptitudes. "Equitableness" then, is the word we want for a fair educational system.
