The Possibilities of a Question Outline Method in the Teaching of History

Abstract

Before entering upon the explanation of a method or system based upon questioning it might be well to consider briefly the history of the question as an instrument of education and, where practicable, to criticize the principles of former methods and compare them, at least implicitly with those of the method here advocated.
