THE RELIABILITY OF THE UNIQUE SUBGROUP APPLICATION OF KYST
Abstract
The reliability of KYST when used with a population having known unique subgroups was explored. Thirty stratified samples of thirty subjects were analyzed by KYST. The results were examined for consistency of stress distribution, final solutions and dimensionality. Consistent results were found among the stress distributions of the samples. Although final solutions appeared to be similar, problems with dimensionality precluded any specific comparisons. Although reliability was suggested by the results more research is necessary to establish KYST as a reliable, practical tool for educational psychologists.
